TAARU Insights — Confidentiality

TAARU treats every client conversation and document as confidential from the first call, and signs an NDA before any deal information is shared.

1. Before an engagement

Initial conversations are confidential and carry no commitment. We do not share what you tell us on a first call with anyone, and we do not use it for any purpose other than understanding your need.

We sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before any deal information, data room material or non-public document is shared. We are glad to sign your firm’s standard NDA, or to provide ours.

2. Who sees your information

Every engagement is led by the founder, Nitant Kumar Arora, who is personally accountable for it from scoping to delivery. There are no hand-offs to junior staff.

Access to your materials is limited to the people working on your engagement. For larger mandates, we bring in specialist support as needed, always with your prior agreement, and anyone involved is bound by the same confidentiality terms as we are.

We never disclose that you are a client, or anything about your mandate, to anyone outside your team without your permission.

3. Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to speed up research on public sources, such as company filings, news, and industry and regulatory material. Every figure and conclusion is checked by the founder before it reaches you.

Confidential materials are never uploaded to any AI tool without your prior approval. If you approve their use, we use only the tools and settings you have agreed to, and only for your engagement.

4. Storage, use and return of your materials

• Storage: your materials are kept in password-protected accounts, with access limited to those working on your engagement. We do not share them through public links.
• Use: we use your information only for your engagement. It is never reused for another client, quoted in our marketing, or shown as a case study without your written permission.
• Delivery: we share deliverables through the channel you choose, such as your data room or your firm’s file-sharing system.
• At the end: when the engagement ends, we return or delete your materials on request, or as your NDA requires. We keep only the records the law obliges us to keep, and they remain confidential.

5. If something goes wrong

If we become aware that your confidential information may have been exposed, we will tell you promptly, explain what happened, and take steps to contain it.

6. How this page relates to other terms

This page describes our standard practice. Where you have signed an NDA or engagement letter with us, that agreement governs and takes precedence. Personal data shared through our website is covered by our Privacy Policy.
